Veneer done wrong falls off — usually a few winters in, when water gets behind it and freeze-thaw pops the stones. We install over proper moisture barriers, lath, and scratch coats, with full mortar coverage on every stone, so the veneer is bonded, drained, and built for this climate.
Foundation veneer is our most-requested application: it turns an exposed block or parged foundation into a finished base that lifts the whole house. We also face fire pits, columns, steps risers, outdoor kitchens, and accent walls.

Natural or manufactured stone veneer?
Natural stone offers unmatched depth and ages gracefully; quality manufactured veneer costs less, weighs less, and installs on more surfaces. Both last when installed over proper moisture barriers and scratch coats — the installation matters more than the label.
Can you put stone veneer over my existing foundation?
In most cases yes — poured and block foundations take veneer well with the right prep. We'll confirm the substrate at the site visit and include all prep in the written quote.
Why do stones fall off some veneer jobs?
Skipped moisture barriers, no scratch coat, or 'spot' mortaring instead of full coverage. Water gets behind the stone and winter does the rest. We install the boring, invisible layers correctly — that's the whole difference.
